When a child is sick

When a child is sick, the parents would be upset. Feel the pain in our children may feel. Children when sick can not say what kind of sick. Children can only cry when sick.

When a child is sick, then we take it to a doctor, for diagnosis rather difficult. We can only assume or guess the sick in misery. Doctors or parents can only know from the symptoms. Then the doctor gives medicine according to the symptoms of the disease. If the wrong diagnosis, it would be wrong to give the drug.

What should we do as a parent when a child is sick? Most important we observe symptoms of the disease. Then we do first aid with a mild drug. If the pain persists then take it to the hospital or to the doctor.

My child is clever use of computers

My children both love the aircraft. Initially when I and my son playing in the yard, passing in the sky there is a plane. The plane is a commercial aircraft. This type of lot. Some are of the Garuda Airways, lion Airlines, Air Asia Airlines and Merpati airlines. Also many others. That all aircraft of the airlines in the country.

Then the other day, my son and I also play in the yard, then passing convoy fighter. Then I said to my son that the flight had been a fighter. And according to my son she says she likes to see a fighter.

And when I access the internet, my son wanted to see pictures internet. So I Looking at Youtube.com. I type in Youtube.com keyword "fighter". So get out a lot of videos on fighter aircraft.

In accessing the video on youtube.com I use speedy Internet. So that the process running smoothly and no buffering.

For my next child is clever use of computers. And was able to open youtube.com. And every open Yuotube.com always a fighter in search

Happy Birthday, may be a long and happy

Feels not, this month was March 2012. And today just my second child 3 years old. My second child grow as a normal child and smart. His face was handsome and if the models wear whatever feels good in view. This is not to judge me, but the appraisal came from a neighbor and brother.

My second child was born on March 11, 2009. I expect a child who turns over 4 years from the original plan. Since the first child was 4, then contraceptives are in use by my wife off. Namu there is a problem and can get the kids into two after 4 years later.

At first I was expecting the child to the two women to get a pair. Because the first male child. But the two children who were also men. For me the boy or girl is not a problem. Since I can only try, but who determines the Lord.

Babies learn to speak from the voice

What if the babies from English-speaking family was watching the video speak Spanish? The results showed that babies aged 12 months more attention to the mouth, as well as babies at a younger age.

Lips then replicated and produce babble-babble of babies who are not heard clearly. As you get older, the chatter was turned into spoken words accurately.
Many people believe, babies learn to speak from the voice he heard. However, a study to prove that this assumption is wrong.

Researchers from Florida Atlantic University found that infants learn the ability to speak by reading lips of people around him.
"In order to mimic the speech of his interlocutor, babies figure out how to form a lip to produce the same sound they heard," said research team member, David Lewkowicz, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Lewkowicz and other team members examined at least 180 infants aged 4,6,8,10 and 12 months. Babies born in English-speaking families were asked to watch the video of a woman who speaks English and Spanish.

At the head of the baby, the researchers paired the headband is equipped with sensors to determine what direction the baby's attention focused.

The homeschooled children scored equally well to public school peers

It is actually interesting to me that the pervading wisdom is that children are best socialized by spending the majority of their day with same-age peers. Consider, for example, that 71% of students report bullying as an ongoing problem, and 1 out of every 10 students either drops out of school or changes schools because of bullying.  The Kaiser Foundation reports that 50% of teens feel peer pressure to have sex, and that teens ages 13-18 report that they are most likely to get information about sexual health from their peers.  Peer influence is one of the most significant factors in kids making choices to “sext” , abuse alcohol , and use illicit drugs. Recent research has even demonstrated that young children are not immune – preschoolers will conform their judgment of a situation to the viewpoint of their peers, even when they knew the majority opinion was false. The question just won’t stop rattling in my brain: Why, exactly, does everyone seem to think peer influence is the optimal means by which children should be socialized?

Shyers noted that the homeschooled children scored equally well to public school peers in social development, and had consistently better behavior than those in public school.  Even a study from the 1970s at Cornell University on the behavior of 6th graders found that “the peer-oriented children held rather negative views of themselves and the peer group. They also expressed a dim view of their own future…Finally, in contrast to the adult-oriented group, the peer-oriented children report engaging in more antisocial behavior, such as ‘doing something illegal,’ ‘playing hooky,’ lying, teasing other children, etc.” A variety of studies have demonstrated that, as compared with their public school peers, homeschoolers have a higher self-esteem (by 41%), higher satisfaction with life , and stronger communication skills and daily living skills (84th percentile for homeschoolers vs. 27th percentile for public schoolers on the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales).  Maybe our culture needs to reevaluate its understanding of proper socialization.

Do we really want 7th graders to be the ones to teach our children their norms, values, behavior, and social skills? I homeschool so that my children’s socialization stretches far beyond the confines of a same-age, same-geographical-locale, same-educational-experience classroom to include people from all walks of life – different ages, races, backgrounds, educational experiences.

Food contains calories, which supply the energy needed for growth and exercise and stop your child feeling hungry. Food also contains crucial vitamins and minerals. Among their many roles, vitamins help the body absorb other nutrients, aid growth and development, assist the body in fighting infection, and ensure organs and cells function normally.

Believe it or not, making sure your child eats well can be relatively simple. After weaning, a healthy diet for your baby is basically the same as a healthy diet for you. It's very important, before the age of 2 years, fats should not be restricted, so use full fat milk and yoghurts, for example but from then on there’s no reason to cook special meals for your child as long as you don’t live off takeaways and chips with everything.

Making sense of food groups

Your child cannot live off bread alone. Or carrots. Or chips. Or any other single food. She needs a varied diet in order to get all the essential nutrients her body needs to be healthy and function efficiently. There are five main food groups that are crucial for your child’s health:

Carbohydrates, found in bread, potatoes, cereals, rice, and pasta, are the body’s most important and readily available source of energy.
Fruits and vegetables contain essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and fibre.
Proteins, found in meat, fish, poultry, eggs, pulses, seeds, and nuts, are key to growth and help build and repair essential parts of the body.
Dairy foods are an important source of protein, vitamins, and minerals, especially calcium, which is essential for healthy teeth and bones.
Fats, such as butter and vegetable oils, are essential (in the correct form and quantity) for the development of healthy brain tissue and the maintenance of the central nervous system.

12 Year old children Door Prize winner in Fun Bike For Green Life

This Sunday I attended a fun bike event. The event which was held by the government and the private sector occurred very festive. Follow the event in as many as 4500 participants fun bike. There are also children by bringing your own bike.

The event fun bike in from 07:00. The road along the 4 km. Past the road off road, past rice fields and residential population. For an unusual ride a bike, this is a difficult thing.

Arriving at the finish about 2 hours later. From fun bike committee provides many door prizes for participants in the race. there is also a local band provided entertainment. Occasionally interspersed his show at the event door prize raffle. The biggest gift door prize, a house worth 100 million dollars.

On this occasion the house door prize, prize winner was a 12-year-old children. I am also happy, life is still young but already has a home. I congratulate the kid for getting home. Hopefully happy.

Helping your child deal with bullying- Child Sense

Handling bullying at school seems to be an inevitable lesson for children to learn. Unfortunately, children are often too young to understand how to handle such conflicts, and can feel belittled and abandoned. Keep an eye out for signs your child is struggling with bullying, taking cues from your child's dominant sense.

Tactile children will physically seem to melt. They will be less inclined to be social and will seem to become physically clingy. They may resist sleeping on their own and huddle up close to their family rather than being their usual larger-than-life selves. When talking to them about the situation, make sure you have created a physically safe place from which to do so, such as a cuddle on the couch, or during story time in bed. Pay careful attention to what you're told, realizing that it will be the physical type of bullying that will affect them most. For example, children taking their bag and kicking it around, blocking a pathway, picking last on team sports - these all will be acts that cause the most damage.

Visual children will become more controlling of their things and the visual aspects of their space. They will be pickier about what they wear and how things are worn, who drops them to school, what their sandwich looks like; basically how things look, especially to others. This can be very frustrating for parents who feel their visual child is becoming too controlling and spoiled, and may try to rectify the situation by being tough. This is often the worst approach, as a visual child will be most concerned with theirs and others' looks when they are most insecure. They will feel deeply any nasty comment about their appearance, or not fitting in, so it's best to assure them they are perfect they way they are, and be understanding of their needs.

Auditory children tend to come home bursting with conversation, so when your auditory child stops talking you may need to find out why. They are very logical beings, so when events happen that are illogical and don't make sense, they will become almost obsessive with trying to work out why. They will try to do this privately, even though they often need conversation to sort out their thoughts. Start the conversation by talking about your own experience with bullying, remembering to use auditory cues such as name calling, verbal isolation or "like me one day, hate me the next" type of bullying. Tone, as well as intention, matter to an auditory child, so sometimes a hurtful comment may not sound so bad when repeated to mom at home. Be sensitive to this by being careful not to diminish its hurtful nature.

Taste and smell children will get upset even if it's another child being bullied. They are apt to be overly empathetic, and often put themselves at the mercy of nastiness in an effort to help someone else. They will feel sorry for the child being bullied and also for the bully, who in their mind must be unhappy. "I play with her because she's nasty and nobody else will play with her" is often something a taste and smell child will say at home, forgetting that they themselves need to be treated well too. Make sure to instill the concept of empathy being different from self-sacrifice, and encourage them to have friends they like and who like them, as well as giving them the tools to know how to handle nastiness in the playground.

Bullying at school starts earlier than we may think, so it's important to keep your eye on your children for signs of both bullying and being bullied. Teach them what to do when they feel confronted or bullied and always leave the door open for them to come to you in confidence for supportive advice.
